Jimmy Trapella brings his cohorts to the Murphy's stage for another night of high energy positive vibe. Tonight he brings a great band to the Matt Murphy's with a Roots Reggae flavor.
New album in the can, gigs a plenty - you have to catch this band now. A great night is guaranteed.
SATURDAY: Gypsy Schaeffer
Original Jazz sounds from Andy Voelkers all original band that share a fondness for the swing and bebop conventions of the mid century and a sparkling brand of interplay that brings those
conventions up to date. In other words a band that is way too good for a Saturday night in Brookline!
SUNDAY: The Instrumentals
Every Sunday we bring you something to go home and talk about with a brand of Reggae or Roots that will leave you warm and fuzzy. The Instrumentals are no exception. Classic Ska tunes are given the once over and redefined for the 00' generation.

MONDAY: Fully Celebrated
Timo Shanko and Jim Hobbes along with Django on Drums. What more can be said about a band that is so original and students of the harmolodic philosophies of Ornette Coleman?( who might
be a phantom member of the group.)

What with all this polling and voting talk we thought we would vote for you as the winners in discerning music taste award! A distant second third and fourth were the cheesy alternatives that Boston has thrown up in the last few months.
Keep trying.

Having wowed audiences at the great Toast club in Somerville it's our turn to get a good look at what all the fuss is about. Mondays in January were fantastic and now here they return. Viva Change!
