We are Back

The Weekly Vibe No 21

Did we say Computer crash? Did we say Stock market crash? Did we say 18 months of the Weekly Vibe every week then a summer hiatus? Well you demanded it and we are BACK!!!!!

And let us begin by saying one thing at the risk of getting flooded with about three "Do Not Send" e-mails......BARACK OBAMA. WELL DONE EVERYONE.

It's official - we now live in the coolest place in America. Gay marriage, Marajuana liberalisation and a Black President and Governor.

Back to the music.

We have two residencies going on that will go down as legendary.

SUNDAYS AND MONDAYS.......Read all about them below.

Check out The Weekly Vibe podcast, spread the word and get the music far and wide. CHECK IT!!! Download choice tracks from over the last six months (and counting) and read up about the bands too. Go here for The Weekly Vibe.

The Upcoming shows at Matt Murphy's Pub will delight the aural senses.

THURSDAY: Wild Sextet

Head into Murphy's for a free concert with one of the Best Jazz acts in the USA right now. Original tunes inspired by the greats from the Fifties and Sixties. Bedazzling dueling Saxophones from two of the towering talents in Boston, Andy Voelker and Timo Shanko, ridiculous guitar from Steve Fell and sublime rhythm section from Geoff Charland and Luther. Then there is the founder Grayson Farmer on Trumpet, nearing legend status from appearing on Slip albums and original member of The Jazz Farmers with The Duo's Marco Benevento.
