THURSDAY: Wild Sextet

Head into Murphy's for a free concert with one of the Best Jazz acts in the USA right now. Original tunes inspired by the greats from the Fifties and Sixties. Bedazzling dueling Saxophones from two of the towering talents in Boston, Andy Voelker and Timo Shanko, ridiculous guitar from Steve Fell and sublime rhythm section from Geoff Charland and Luther. Then there is the founder Grayson Farmer on Trumpet, nearing legend status from appearing on Slip albums and original member of The Jazz Farmers with The Duo's Marco Benevento.

Andy performs with the Wild Sextet every Thursday and is the man about town on Sax. Tonight he plays with the legendary Harold Lane who is the sprightly age of 81!!! Harold is a mainstay
of the jazz jam on Thursdays and is making his full debut tonight!!!

SUNDAY: Dub Apocalypse w/Toussaint.

Tommy Benedetti on drums with Nate Edgar on bass with Johnny Trama on guitar bringing the essential dub to the house of Live and Direct..

With the one and only Toussaint for good measure. We welcome him back from Brooklyn where he is laying it down these days. This night is one to check out as they play throughout June.

Adam from The Superpowers puts together another project of high class and distinction. Rooted in African rhythms and with guest singers and eclectic beats.

TUESDAY: B3 Kings

We are nearly at the two year anniversary stage with the B3 kings now and they are still going strong with power and assuredness. Brian Thomas and Timo Shanko trade melodies with Johnny Trama providing the searing guitar hooks that we know and love him for. Always backed by a B3 organ and the legendary Mr Arey on drums.
