Conspiracy Theory - Bennet Miller Band

Yes it happened, we managed to heat a mix of Hendrix and Afrobeat coupled with Fall out Boy....kind off.
The Boston Afrobeat Society branched out to territory unkown this Sunday evening and produced music of quality and distinction. Think Space Oddysey meets a rainy night in Serpico.
And all of this in the same week as the Champions League Semi Final's with three English teams in.....things can only get stranger.

Public House 05.08

Public House was without a key component in Geoff Scott but soldiered on regardless. Mike Keenan (John Brown's Body) stepped into the breech to go toe to toe with Johnny Trama on an axe duel. Akira on vocals was a gem.
From walking into the joint and being on the microphone tookhim all of seven seconds!

Boubacar - Sambasolo

A solo set in the intimate confines of an empty pub on a Monday night is something that can happen in life and you remember for a long time. Cherish in fact.
When the performer happens to be West African with talent oozing from his paws it makes it that bit more special, a lot more special.
Steady lilting jams with mandolin and electric guitar in unison, add Bouba's syrupy African baritone and you have a sound to charm the birds from the trees.
