The Weekly Vibe No 8

Lunar eclipse out of the way....here is the current line up at Murphy's for the weekend of fun filled hollering and a weeping. Howling at the moon is optional.

Here is the FREE MP3 OF THE WEEK - another tour de force from the Seamonsters Tuesday night residency which switches to Mondays in March.....

Check out The Weekly Vibe podcast, spread the word and get the music far and wide. CHECK IT!!! Download choice tracks from over the last six months (and counting) and read up about the bands too. Go here for The Weekly Vibe.

The Upcoming shows at Matt Murphy's Pub will delight the aural senses.

FRIDAY: Leah Randazzo

Leah is a confident and vivacious jazz singer with a growing book of original tunes and a likably strong stage presence. A great night is guaranteed.

SATURDAY: Chris Conley

Chris stops by with a jazz/guitar group more at home with electric jams than traditional tunes. A tight band and original tunes make for a salt of the earth Saturday night at Murphy's.

SUNDAY: Greg Luttrell

Every Sunday in February, we like to make it easy for you, Greg will feature an army of friends playing the Blues. Yes Murphy's will have a Blues night on what is usually a Reggae night....we're mixing it up a bit. But it's all roots music anyway. Plus Greg is fabulous. Tonight features Geoff Scott on guitar too.

MONDAY: Fully Celebrated

Timo Shanko and Jim Hobbes along with Django on Drums. What more can be said about a band that is so original and students of the harmolodic philosophies of Ornette Coleman?( who might
be a phantom member of the group.)

TUESDAY: Seamonsters

A powerhouse voice and a turn of phrase that lends itself perfectly to the song form, this is music to make you fall in love all over again. Did we say we think they are magnificent?
