SATURDAY: CRAIG AKIRA

Craig Akira is the lead singer with Boston legends Pressure Cooker. (recently performed with The English Beat on tour). This boy is a musical tour de force and all round man about town!

Come down and let him take you on a musical trip through Jamaican dancehall to Notting Hill Ska and back.

SUNDAY: BURU STYLE

More roots than roots, Buru Style brings you the rhythms on which reggae was founded. Several nyabingi drummers, acoustic bass and guitar, and horns galore give thanks through the music of Count Ossie, Don Drummond, Cedric Brooks and others

MONDAY: FULLY CELEBRATED ORCHESTRA

Jim Hobbes leads the most revered free Jazz band in the US today. But that is only half the story. The FCO wield many influences and genres within their set. A sonically brilliant and imaginative band beyond belief.

TUESDAY: PUBLIC HOUSE

Geoff Scott returns with mike Rivard and Brian Sayers and Timo Shanko to show everyone why they are at the Pub in the first place. Six years on and going STRONG. Music experimentation,
stretching of the musical mind muscle.

Post jam sounds of the nth degree get your pulse racing for the mid week weekend at Murphy's. Expect a great crowd for what remains the best night in Boston bar none.

Thursday: WILD SEXTET

Sumptuous melodies and amazing playing on a par with anything you would get in New York or Chicago. Coming up for their Fifth anniversary of playing every Thursday night at Matt Murphy's Pub. Original tunes inspired by the greats from the Fifties and Sixties. Listen and enjoy.
