THE FALL AT MURPHY'S
THE FALL
Not the Mark E King version. We are talking the american version of autumn. Slightly shorter, more vibrant and less bleak than the British version. Which just about sums up the music andscape ahead of us at Murphy's. The less bleak version that is.
This weekend sees our old mucker Toussaint headline his own show (along with the band Soulive of course) at The Roxy. A long way from skateboarding down Harvard Street!
Here is a FREE MP3 of Toussaint in case you had forgotten what he had sounded like. A track form 'Live @ Eleven'.
The Upcoming shows at Matt Murphy's Pub will delight the aural senses.
14 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA.
FRIDAY:LosAcoustilocos
Latin and Caribbean rhythms, intricate vocal harmonies, original songs in Spanish, French,
English, Haitian Creole and Portuguese.
SATURDAY:
The Mumbles
THE MUMBLES(BKLYN,NY) are a vintage keyboard and drum duo whose songs are meant to be remembered in the shower. Asses will shake as life affirming mantras are repeated. The boys will be touring in support of their new record, Snippin' the Bonsai.

This promises to be a great end to the week.

Rounding out the last week of the Blow Out Monday night Jazz series is a pair of playas! Basically this is the face off moment between Wally's and Murphy's. In one corner we have the man of the moment Lois Cato, drummer and bass player extraordinaire and in the other corner we have Timo Shanko. Murphy's very own virtuoso. Sensational. This will blow your mind.

B3 KINGS
Here for the next round of Tuesdays is the ever popular B3 kings on a mission to convert everyone to the Church of B3. Boogaloo meets Reggae with some serious attitude. We are talking Brian Thomas (Akashic, JBB) and Timo Shanko on all out attack mode. Sensational musicianship with an up for it crowd.
